Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani box office collection Day 13: Karan Johar's film has been enjoying a great run in cinemas for nearly two weeks now, but has big competition ahead.
Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahaani, starring Alia Bhatt and Ranveer Singh, has been playing well in theaters for about two weeks. According to industry tracker Sacnilk, the Karan Johar movie made Rs 113.68 crore at the domestic box office after 12 days, and as of today, on its 13th day, it has made Rs 4.10 crore. The movie's nett domestic take now stands at Rs 117.78 crore. The film's global box office total is Rs 225.2 crore, surpassing Alia's husband Ranbir Kapoor's Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar, a different romantic comedy drama, by Rs 5 crore.
Despite being released after the Hollywood films Oppenheimer and Barbie, Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani managed to win over the public and stand out as one of the few films to do so.
The Alia-Ranveer movie is anticipated to experience a decline during the course of its third weekend in theaters as a result of the Thursday release of Jailer starring Rajinikanth, as well as the Friday releases of Gadar 2 and OMG 2 starring Sunny Deol and Akshay Kumar.
According to Box Office Mojo, the movie has earned over Rs 91 crore abroad. RARKPK had a modest opening day gross of just Rs 11.1 crore, but because to excellent reviews and word-of-mouth buzz, Bollywood Hungama predicts a lifetime gross of Rs 150 crore for the movie. The movie gives Alia Bhatt, who has been having success at the box office, another smash. All of her recent movies, including Gangubai Kathiawadi and Brahmastra, did well at the box office, which is impressive considering Hindi film hasn't been delivering regularly at home for a few years. RARKPK gave Ranveer Singh some pleasure as theactor hasn’t had a hit in the cinemas since 2019’s Gully Boy. The actor’s recent films – 83, Jayeshbhai Jordaar and Cirkus – performed poorly at the box office.
